Recruitment Entrepreneur, an international private equity firm has a unique opportunity for a world-class Business Development Director in the human capital industry to join their Japan business.

Headquartered in the UK we have rapidly expanded to US, Canada, Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Australia, Sweden, Hong Kong, Singapore and are now developing our acclaimed business model and operations into Japan!

With a state-of-the-art technology platform, sophisticated back-office capabilities and an excellent training and development culture, you will have all the necessary tools and resources at your disposal to help drive our ambitious growth plans as we continue to scale the business internationally. Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and implementing outreach strategies, to spearhead sales activities, identifying new business prospects and opportunities and nurturing them into the pipeline
  • Preparing operational and financial sales department reports
  • Directly coordinate cross-selling and joint marketing initiatives to maximize exposure and profitability
  • Integrating the CRM process
  • Speaking with entrepreneurs in Japan who are looking to start, scale, or sell their own recruitment business.

We are looking for an experienced staffing sector specialist with a strong working knowledge of the Japan market to help the company achieve its objectives for the next level of its growth. Our ideal person will have:

  • 5+ years’ experience in the recruitment and staffing sector or a background in recruitment-related services/sales
  • Prior experience in developing and managing incoming leads and ongoing outreach
  • Must have exceptional commercial acumen and interpersonal skills
  • You would ideally have strong leadership skills
